5 of these guitars were made in the summer of 2018. What makes them so unique are the materials that were used. The Curly Maple comes from a sawmill in Bristol, Virginia owned by the infamous East Coast Curly Maple supplier to a large well known maker in Nashville. The body is made of ancient reclaimed Hemlock from the beams of the Wayne C. Henderson School of Appalachian Arts in Marion, Virginia.
The neck is made of Appalachian Hard Maple and has a Rosewood fingerboard. The scale is 25.5″ with a Jazzmaster Style Bridge and mounted Chrome Tailpiece.
The Soap Bar P90 pickups are hand wound in the Big Bang workshop. The electronics include CTS dish back 250k pots, NOS PIO Tone Caps all hand wired with vintage style push back cloth wiring. Carrying the electronics is a 3 Ply Black Pickguard with Amber Bell knobs.
This instrument is finished in “Amber Black Burst.” The final finish is a hand polished satin.
The guitar will come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
