The Big Bang Model A is an American made instrument featuring a beautiful classic design, chambered body and professional playability.  These instruments are made in a small shop in Bristol VA, nicknamed “The Big Bang of Country Music”. This will be a private build, so contact us about picking out your top and the specifics of making something you’ll love. Our Maple comes from the same mill as many of the most beautiful guitars in the world. The Model A features a chambered Sapele body with a Solid Curly Maple top and a thick cream binding. Gotoh Nickel Hardware and Tune-O-Matic Bridge with a Trapeze Tailpiece. The guitar has a familiar 25.5″ scale neck topped by a Rosewood fingerboard and bone nut. The nearly 1.25″ tone chamber in the Sapele body gives this guitar a rich tone that is extremely warm and resonant.

The electronics feature a pair of hand wound Magneto Design Lab Tru-Tone 59′ Humbucker pickups, quality CTS Master Volume and Master Tone pots with Orange Drop Tone Caps and a mini three-way pickup selector switch all hand wired with vintage cloth “push back” wire. The guitar is hand stained and finished with Nitro Cellulose Lacquer. Your instrument will come with a Gator case.
